As I travel throughout the world to speak to you about safety I am always touched and inspired by your stories of courage and triumph. I have been doing what I do for a very long time and I never grow tired because I continue to be inspired and I know how important my message has become for many of you. I appreciate the opportunity I am given every day to make a difference.
I also have come to realize over the years that we are not alone on this planet we call our home. We share our world with the many creatures both big and small and it is our charge to respect and honor all life. When I first heard about Rosie the Elephant I was intrigued and interested enough in her story to personally get involved to support the project. A project to create a safe environment for her where she can live out the rest of her days safely and with care.
After meeting Rosie in person and getting to know her, I have to admit I fell in love and now I am inspired to do even more to help.
